Day 1:  Lao Cai - Sapa - Fansipan trek ( B, L,D)
( distance 10 -11km - Time schedule: 6-7 h of  trekking ). 1000 m elevation of up

5h30/6h00 AM: Our bus driver picks you up from Lao Cai station ( Sapa bus station/ at 9h00 am in your hotel in Sapa town) to our office for the trip.
The trek begins at about 9h00 am by Car / motorbikes ( if you are alone, you will stay behind a scooter for transport, if you could not stay behind scooter and please let us know to arrange a car. Transport by car from 2 people up) to Tram Ton pass. We start trekking from here and pass through forests of pine, bamboo along nice streams and visit cardamom garden. Pic - nic lunch on the way at the first camping site (2200m ) and then continue the trek up to point 2800 m. Have a beautiful view of mountains and valleys on the way. Hunting beautiful pictures and enjoying a nice view with fresh air. 
15h30/16h30: Arrive to the camping site 
Overnight in camping at 2800 m
 
Day 2: Fansipan Trek  ( Sunrise )– Sin chai village ( B, L , D)
Distance 20 -22 km - Time schedule: 8-10 h of trekking.
300 -400 m elevation of uphill and all 1900m of down)


Sunrise on Fansipan

4h00/6h00 AM: Have breakfast in the early morning and then continue the trek ( Option for sunrise on the Summit and start very early in the morning, You discuss and decide on it with our guide), crossing bamboo forests and beautiful view of mountain and deep valleys (Most difficult part of trek) before reaching the summit where you have a panorama of Sapa town and China mountain. Resting and Enjoy the beautiful view of sunrise and hunting unique pictures, visiting temple and buddha statues, and flower gardens (depending on season).

( Optional : If you are tired, you can take cable car down from the summit to Sapa, short walking in afternoon to village, you pay cable car tickets by yourself  ( from 31 to 33 usd / 1 cable car ticket)). Trekking down and Picnic lunch at the camping, then down to the Sin Chai village of black Hmong ethnic people. Beautiful rice paddy fields around village and jungle.
Enjoy diner and overnight with Family ( homestay ) in Sin Chai village.
Note of cable car: Cable car will close from 24 November / 2025 to 15 / December / 2025 (Reopening on the 16th / Dec / 2025)


Day 3 : Sin Chai – Cat Cat village – Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Tavan village ( Muong Hoa valley )- Sapa-Lao Cai  ( B, L … )
Distance 13 -15 km - duration 5h.    200 -300 m elevation

A new day with an nice view, this day we go downhill to Cat Cat village of H‘mong tribe in the valley, which remains very generally uncorrupted outside forces. Have a short walk around the village for Excellent views of the valley, the magnificent limestone and paddy fields of H‘mong village. After the village down into the valley, the Cat Cat waterfall ( Tien Sa waterfall ) will be visible. A "White curtain" cascade appears, surrounded by flowery valley and deep-green pines. Visiting an old hydroelectric power station was built by French.
Continue the trek to Y Linh Ho village. Walking along rice terrace fields to Lao Chai village
 Lunch in local restaurant in Lao Chai village in the center of Muong Hoa valley. The biggest and nicest valley in Sapa (Muong Hoa valley), visit Hmong et Dzao, Day ethnic people.
Then walking through rice paddy field and old traditional wooden houses to Ta Van village of Zay ethnic people to enjoy fresh air and nice view with beautiful traditional wooden houses.
14h30/15h00: You will take a car back to Sapa for refresh
15h30: Taking a sleeping Bus to Hanoi / 17h30 taking a shuttle bus to Lao Cai train station for night train to Hanoi / Drop you in your hotel in Sapa town. End Trip

-From December to February: 
It is the Winter time and coldest time on Fansipan.
It is also dry season and often sunny, possibly misty and raining a little bit (Not heavy rain, Not rainy season).
It is the high season for trekking to Fansipan mountain.
Temperature is from -2 to 10 Degree Celsius. It is about 60 to 70 % of the time sunny on the summit). The weather changes very quickly in a day and every-day, every-time
 
-From March to May: 
It is Springtime and still cold on Fansipan (A high mountain).
It is also dry season and often sunny, possibly misty and raining a little bit (Not heavy rain).
It is the high season for trekking to Fansipan mountain too (One of the best times for Fansipan Trekking).
Temperature is from 5 to 15 Degree Celsius. It is about 70% of the time sunny on the summit). The weather changes very quickly in a day and every-day, every-time

-From June – August 
It is Summer time and the rainy season from 2800 m to summit, often sunny from the station of trek to camping site at 2800m.
It is still very cold in Fansipan, sunny and possible raining a lot, some misty on the summit but not full day or not every-day. Not dangerous for the trek and You do not worry about it.
Temperature is about 12 to 17 Oc.
The weather changes very quickly in a day and every-day, every-time
 
-From September to November: 
It is autumn time and still cold on Fansipan (A high mountain).
It is the dry season and often sunny, possibly misty and raining a little bit (Not heavy rain).
It is a high season for trekking to Fansipan mountain too (the best time of year for Fansipan Trekking).
Temperature is from 5 to 15 Degree Celsius. It is about 70 -80% of the time it is sunny on the summit). The weather changes very quickly in a day and every-day, every-time



 
2: What to bring:  You should bring warm clothes, raincoats, sun-cream, trekking shoes, a stick (possibly find a stick in the jungle), hat, head-light, toilet paper, gloves, sock…. Put them on a backpack to carry
We have good sleeping bag and small mattress in the camping
You will sleep in a small house of local government and Sharing the house in the camping with other trekkers ( 8 -10 pers / dorm room, depending many trekkers or less, the camping belongs our government and they control it, we must follow organization of local government, not in our hand ).
It is very basic house and no electric and no hot shower
We will give you 3 liters of water / pers for day 1 and 2 (2 big bottles) , you carry it by yourself


3: Homestay is a local and basic wooden house of ethnic famers. There is bed and small mattress, mosquito net, blanket and towel, hot shower, Western toilet, you stay in a private or dorm room).  It is clean and good, but not same like a room in hotel. You will share the homestay with other tourists
