Travel route: Hanoi - Maichau - Sonla - Dien Bien Phu - Laichau - Sapa - Bac Ha -Hanoi.
Day 1 Ha Noi – Mai Chau ( D )
Our guide and driver pick you up from your hotel in Ha Noi to Mai Chau village, we drive through Ha Noi city you have a view the city. Out of city you will have see many ethnic people on mountainous north Viet Nam, friendly Muong Hmong Thai …ethnic farmers work on rice and corn field , we stop for some pictures and you can work with them on their field. Arrive to Mai Chau for checking in white Thai ethnic home stay , Lunch and then we have a short walk around Ban Lac and Poong Cong villages to discover their culture and have a seat in their house to enjoy some tea. After that we go to rice field , over night in homestay , diner with family , about 8 pm we will enjoy traditional ethnic music from farmer actor and actress.
Day 2 Mai Chau – Moc Chau ( Son La )- Dien Bien Phu ( B, )
After breakfast we drive to Son La city and visit prison it is so famous in the French and America - Vietnam war, interesting information from your tour guide talks about Vietnam history and it was place for our president stayed there. You‘ll enjoy the picturesque scenery as you pass the villages of Black Thai, White Thai, Meo. Visiting Moc Chau Highland with beautiful flowers and green tea hills. continue to Dien Bien Phu city and overnight in a hotel in the City .
Day 3: Dien Bien Phu - Lai Chau (B, )
The morning we will visit the headquater of french , museum , headquater of general , Hill number A1 , D1 ..From Muong Lay, the drive is stunning with tiered tea plantations and verdant rice terraces carved into the landscape. Continue to Lai Chau (formerly Tam Duong) for the night. If you happen to be in Lai Chau on a Sunday morning, the town is bustling with activity as the local hill tribes gather for their weekly market day. Overnight in a hotel.
Day 4 : Lai Chau - Sa Pa (B, D)
From Lai Chau to Sa Pa you pass through Tam Duong (formerly Binh Lu), and over the 1950 meter Tram Ton pass, Viet Nam‘s highest mountain pass and considered the most beautiful stretch of road in the country. Sa Pa is nestled at over 1600 meters in the breathtaking Hoang Lien Son Mountains. After lunch, take a short 3-hour trek down this stunning valley sculpted with steep rice terraces to Ta Van village for a home stay. Enjoy the savoury food and the hospitality of your Dzay hosts.
Day 5: Ta Van -Sapa - Suoi Ho - Lu Khau - Giang Cha - Ta Phin- Sapa (B,L )
Prepare carefully before the last trek. Your mountain walk commences on a trail running through the beautiful gardens and lush pine forests. You will then pass through the Black Hmong ethnic minority village of Matra, a very small village hiding way from the civilisation. The walk continues through rice paddy fields and spectacular scenery. During the day you will also be able to visit a local school. You will enjoy your lunch before arriving at the Xaxeng village. Here you can hear about the unmixed cultural life of Black Hmong and Red Dao minorities, 2 largest ethnic groups in the area. You can already recognise them by dressing while they are both very famous of handicraft. You will enjoy walking among local people. This Sapa discovery trip also offers you the opportunity to visit the local houses as well as explore the local daily lifes. You will return Sapa by car. Overnight in Sapa
Day 6: Ethnic Market (B,L,D)
Be at Bac Ha market in the early morning, you will see a huge market populated by the Flower H‘mong in their colourful outfits and a range of basic goods and items for visitors. In the afternoon, you will take a walk to Flower Hmong village which is located in a small valley. You will go back to Sapa town, have dinner and then transfer to Lao Cai Railway station, take the night train to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi early morning. End of services.
